上网宽带速度,始终是用户所关心的一个话题。ADSL作为目前宽带市场上占有60%用户群的主流接入方式,其速度更是受到了普遍关注。
近来,有不少用户对ADSL下载速率提出了质疑,认为根本没有达到服务商标称的1M,用户都在问为什么我的Internet下载速率没有所标称的1M。那么,这到底是什么原因呢?
大部分用户产生质疑的依据就是在电脑通过ADSL接入网络后,在点击下载时会出现一个下载速率指示条,上面显示的下载速率一般为100KB/s左右。的确与标称的1024K相差甚远。
上面的下载速度100K的单位是B/s,这和我们平常所说的速率的单位b/s是不同的(B=byte,b=bit)。
实际上,bit是计算机的二进制数,而byte则是字节的单位,它们之间的换算关系则是1byte=8bit。1024Kbit折合成以byte为单位的话也就只有120多K而已,再加上一些网络上信号衰减、IP包头信息等因素,正常的下载速率一般为下行速率的十分之一左右,如果用户开通的下行速率为1024Kb/s,那么其正常的下载速率一般为100KB/s左右。
下面是常见的上网速率对应表,仅供参考:
10K左右小猫拨号上网(基本已经消失了)
50—60K左右512K ADSL上网
100—120K左右1M ADSL上网
220—260K左右2M ADSL上网
500—1M左右光纤接入(小区宽带或者办公楼)
上网速度是我们最关心的,但很多时候服务商承诺给我们的带宽我们并没有享受到,很多朋友不懂这里面的换算关系,导致上网很慢不懂为何。但也要注意,电脑病毒引起上网慢也是可能的。
